OoO RounD & RounD OoO

I see it! Its fascinating! Its coming near! Too close.... And it moves round and round. Then flys away along a tangent.... Now it comes back.... Resuming its circular motion. It moves round and round and round and round and round.... It strarts fading.... then becomes clearer and moves round and round and round and round.... It again starts becoming hazy and it starts moving away... furthur and furhthur.... still furthur and it starts fading once again.... Its fading and then it suddenly becomes clear.... Clear, clearer and clearer still.... My heads dizzy!

What was this?!!?
Dun ask me,

#1. The man is (of course) a dwarf.

#2. The man had jumped from a plane but his parachute had failed to open. It is the unopened package.

#3. They were two of a set of triplets (or quadruplets etc.)

#4. A square manhole cover can be turned and dropped down the diagonal of the manhole. A round manhole cannot be dropped down the manhole. So for safety and practicality, all manhole covers should be round.

#5. The man had visited his wife in hospital. She was on a life-support machine. As he was walking down the stairs all the lights went out. There had been a power cut and the emergency back-up systems had failed. He knew that she had died

#6. Only once! After that u subtract 2 from 20 and so on..

#7. They were mother daughter and grandmother !

ThinKinG WiTh A DiFFeReNcE

I found a few lateral thinking puzzles. You will have to think unconventionally if you want to understand the hows, the whys and the whereofs of these puzzles. These situations are wierd (like me ; ) ) but when you will hear the answers you will want to kick yourself for not working it out your self! You can ask questions (I inserted a tagboard : ) ) , but they can only be answered in "yes", "no" or "irrelevant".So be ready to rattle your brain!!!

#1. A man lives on the 10th floor of a building. Every day he takes the elevator to go down to the ground floor to go to work or to go shopping. When he returns, he takes the elevator to the 7th floor and walks up the stars to reach his appartment on the 10th floor. He hates walking, so why does he do it?

#2.A man is lying dead in a field. Next to him there is an unopened package. There is no other creature on the field. How did he die?

#3.A woman had two sons who were born on the same day of the same year. But they are not twins. How could this be so?

#4.Why is it better to have round manhole covers than square ones?

#5.A man was walking downstairs in a building when he suddenly realised that his wife had just died. How?

#6.How many times can you subtract the no. 2 from the no. 22?

#7.One day two mothers and two daughters went shopping for shes. Their shopping spree was successful-each bought a pair of shoes, and all together, they had three pairs. How is this possible?

These kind of puzzles teach you to check your asuptions about any stuation. You have to be open minded, flexible and creative and also put lots of different clues and pieces of information together to reach a feasible solution. This is lateral thinking!

"Life comes up with something strange and I wonder why? Things go terribly wrong, without any intentions of doing any harm, and I wonder How? I think again and then I understand..... Its all for a good cause! "

Answers in the next post. Keep guessing till then!!!

---{-@ DAS HERZ - FATHOM.... @-}---

”The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” – Hellen Keller

The heart – a very peculiar thing, isn’t it. Makes you do what you don’t want to do. Yet it is what you want to do [Sounds crazy!]. I think, feel, see and hear with my heart – for me it is all my senses. Weird, I know, but that’s how I am. Can't really help it.

The heart – an ocean, with its depth and all its secrets. Reflecting all – the blues of the sky, light of the sun and the freedom of the birds. At the same time drowning an entire world beneath it. You can peer over it and see it all – but it seems unapproachable - so big. Or is it that you are too small. All a matter of perception.

Was browsing through my files on the computer and found this. I had written it long time back - perhaps for today....

IN MY HEART

There deep in my heart,
There is a hope for success,
A desire to win
A goal to achieve,
A thought to follow,
A path to take,
A truth to tell,
A lie to confess,
A dream to fulfill,
A promise to make,
A woe to forget,
A happiness to express,
A feeling to share,
A burden to carry,
And a prince charming ,
who is waiting somewhere,
for me.

There deep in the heart, there is a special place where all the dreams, wishes and hopes reside.... the secrets dwell.... where you 'live'.... and a special key is required to access it....

The mood’s weird these days – there’s so much to do, yet so less, so much time, yet the moments seem to slip by, so many reasons to rejoice yet the heart sighs….

“Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens.” – Carl Jung

The answers are all here.... Look within you.
